Yorkshire, specifically 190km between Leeds and Harrogate, provided the course for stage 1 of this year’s Tour De France and NSR was there right in the thick of it. The excitement in the build up to the opening leg was palpable not only in Yorkshire but throughout the UK, it was an event not to be missed by any cycling enthusiast.
As part of the Tour de France celebrations, NSR provided all the sound equipment for the Festival of Cycling at Harewood House the day before the opening leg, which included a stage PA, two PA systems for large screens supplied by ADI, a PA system along the 700m road route entering Harewood House, TVs and PA systems in all the VIP hospitality areas plus a PA system in the caravan park area.
The festive atmosphere created by NSR spilled over to the opening day of the Tour de France as all the competing teams cycled through cheering crowds at Harewood House on route to the start line for first leg of the tour. The NSR team did what they do best that ensured a great day was had by all!
