It’s All About the Horse
NSR Communications has supplied the event industry with audio and visual equipment for purchase or hire for more than 50 years. Since the formation of NSR, the company has been associated with, and suppliers to, the equine event world and continues to support many annual equine events the length and breadth of the UK. The company’s contract portfolio in this area includes many county shows, point to point racing, showing, dressage and showjumping events.
Devon County Show is a prestigious fixture in the showing and show-jumping equine calendar and has been a part of NSR’s annual event schedule for over 25 years. The company supplies the Show with everything from a full PA system, radio mics, timing equipment and double-decker commentary unit for the main arena as well as the two smaller equine arenas to full PA systems and radio mics for the other non-equine arenas and livestock features around the showground.
Another equine event in NSR’s calendar is the Horse of the Year Show; one of the largest equine events in the UK. Here the NSR team provide a total of 20 different services ranging from raido mics for the International Arena plus full PA system with radio mics and double-decker commentary box in the Caldene arena. In addition the company installs call-up systems for the competitor collecting areas, communication provision for the horse lines in the stable area plus fixed backstage cameras along with monitors previewing ‘behind the scenes’ action.
At the opposite end of the scale NSR also supply 5 point to point meets during the racing season supplying full PA systems, commentary units and radio mics.
